Our tour start with Profitis Elias mountain the highest peak of the island (short panoramic photo stop of approx. 15 min).
Then we continue with a walking tour at Megalochori village, one of the most beautiful villages of the island. Typical traditional Cycladic houses, neoclassic buildings and small cave houses blend together in harmony (25 min. stop).
After Megalochori we proceed with the visit of Akrotiri excavations, one of the most important prehistoric settlments of Greece. That was destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17th century BC and buried under the volcanic ash which preserved the whole city in perfect conditions (1 & ½ hours visit).
We visit the Red beach and then drive to Akrotiri village, to a shop with traditional products, the Faros market.
We continue our tour with Perivolos black sandy beach, one of the longest beaches in Cyclades and the best beach in Santorini, away of the crowds, offering a big variety of restaurants, taverns, café’, beach bars & water sports. Ideal destination for those who want to combine relaxation, swimming & good food (time at leisure for lunch or swim – stop for
1 & ½-2 hours).
Then we proceed to a local winery for wine tasting. We propose to taste the distinctive wines of the island and learn more about the unique in the word Santorini vineyard. Free time for photos and shopping (45 minutes).
For those we wish to continue our last stop is Oia, the village known for it’s breathtaking sunset. Oia has inspired artists, poets and every visitor of the island. The beauty of Oia is unsurpassed. Small white cave houses dug into the volcanic rock, interspersed by splashes of rich ochre, deep fuchsia, cobat blue, oyster pink and earthy red.

Volcano – Hot Springs – Thirassia – Oia – Sunset

Description:
The bus picks up clients from the designated pick up points and drives them to Athinios port, in order to embark on the traditional boat (caique).
The first stop is at the islet of NEA KAMENI, which is the VOLCANO of Santorini. There, clients have the opportunity to climb to the crater of the still active, but dormant Volcano, 127meters above the sea level, which last erupted in 1950.
After 1 ½ hour, the boat leaves the Volcano and heads to the small islet of PALAIA KAMENI or HOT SPRINGS, as it is better known, which was formed through the centuries by several Volcanic eruptions. Along the coastline of the isle there are many hot springs, and clients have 30 minutes to swim in the warm yellow-green waters, which are considered to have healing powers.
The next stop is at THIRASSIA, the second largest island after Santorini in the Caldera. The island, located opposite of Santorini, is quiet and unaffected by the large numbers of tourist arriving every day. Here, clients will have 1,5 hours free time to explore the island, have lunch in one of many small taverns, or swim in the crystal clear waters.
Finally, the boat departs from THIRASSIA and heads to the traditional port of Armeni, from where the clients take the stairs to OIA village (on foot or by donkeys). In OIA, clients can explore the traditional settlement, wander in the narrow streets, admire the unique architecture, blending large Venetian houses and small cave homes, and of course watch the world famous sunset.
After the sunset, the buses will be waiting in the parking area to return clients to their hotels.

Description:
The bus picks up clients from the designated pick up points and drives them to Athinios port, in order to embark on the traditional boat.
The first stop is at the isle of NEA KAMENI, also known as the VOLCANO. There, clients have the chance to climb to the crater of the Volcano, passing by many sulfur vents.
After 1 ½ hour, the boat leaves the Volcano and heads to the small islet of PALAIA KAMENI or HOT SPRINGS, as it is called by the locals, formed by several Volcanic eruptions, with many hot springs along its coastline. There, clients have 30 minutes to swim in the warm yellow-green, from the sulfur, waters, considered to have healing powers.
The next stop is at THIRASSIA, the second largest island after Santorini in the Caldera. The island, located opposite of Santorini, is a contrast to it, quiet and undeveloped, untouched by tourism. Here, clients will have 1,5hours free time to have lunch in one of the many small taverns, or swim in the crystal clear waters. Alternatively, they can walk or take a donkey ride to the top of the island and explore the capital, Manolas village.

The first stop is at the VOLCANO, as the isle of NEA KAMENI is better known. There, clients have the opportunity to climb to the crater of this dormant Volcano.
One and a half hour later, the boat leaves the Volcano and heads to the small islet of PALAIA KAMENI, otherwise known as HOT SPRINGS, where clients have 30 minutes to swim in the warm (35°C) waters, which are considered to have healing powers.
