Day 1

Arrival at Athens airport, pick up your car from the airport, drive to your hotel in Athens center. Visit the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2

Drive to Nafplio (150km) / pass the Corinth Canal, visit Ancient Corinth and Mycenae. In the evening you may enjoy your walk at the picturesque town of Nafplio. Overnight in Nafplio.

Day 3

Visit the Palamidi Fortress in Nafplio and the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its unique acoustics. Overnight in Nafplio.

Day 4

Drive to Areopolis (172km) Visit Gythio town on the way and the Diros caves, one of the biggest caves in Europe. In the evening enjoy a nice walk in Areopolis small village with traditional architecture.  Overnight in Areopolis.

Day 5

Explore the south west Mani region, small villages with stone built houses, like Gerolimenas and Porto Cagio, the Marmari beach and the Tenaro Lighthouse. Overnight in Areopolis.

Day 6

Drive east (92km) and visit the unique Monemvasia Medieval Fortress-town. Then drive (28km) to the nearby small town-port of Neapolis for overnight.

Day 7

Day tour to Elafonissos island (a few minutes by ferry) with the turquoise crystal clear waters and the beautiful Caribbean-style sandy beaches.  Overnight in Neapolis.

Day 8

Drive to Kalamata (164km) and visit on the way the Mystras fortified town with its several Byzantine churches. In the evening explore the Kalamata city, the capital of Messenia region. Overnight in Kalamata.

Day 9

Drive to the south-west part of Peloponnese with the various attractions, Nestor Palace, Pylos and Gialova villages, Voidokilia beach, Methoni medieval castle. Overnight in Kalamata.

Day 10

Drive to Olympia (112km) by the West-Peloponnese coastal road, along the Messenian Gulf, one of the longest beaches of Greece (almost 60km length, starting from Kyparissia to Pyrgos) and visit the archeological site and museum of Olympia, the place where the ancient Olympic Games were held. Back to Kalamata for overnight.

Day 11

Drive to Athens (237km, approx. 2,5 hours driving) Visit the Ancient Agora or the National Archeological Museum and enjoy a walk at Plaka, the old part of Athens, under the Acropolis hill. Overnight in Athens.

Day 12

Drive to the airport where you will drop off your car.
